About Me

About Me

I started coding during secondary school due to my interest in technology and a passion for building things, particularly those that would benefit others. This led me to create small projects initially for friends and family, then expanding to friends-of-friends, ultimately paving the way for a career in software engineering.

My early projects included small helper utilities, such as a rudimentary website blocker for my sister, and creating an Oblivion mod for my school friends. As I delved into larger applications, I grasped the importance of testing, documentation, and, crucially, maintainability, recognising that I wouldn’t always be the next developer working with the code.

I completed my Masters in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of York in 2015, after which I commenced my career as a software engineer in Glasgow.
