I'm a software engineer, living in Glasgow, writing articles about technical topics in my spare time. They range from write-ups of side projects I've been working on to articles on software engineering and self-hosting automation.

I am an avid hill walker, always waiting for my next chance to make a bee-line for the mountains when there's a break in the Scottish weather. I'm also a keen rock climber, though recently more in theory than in practice.
